Estudos pro blog do John K !

Cambada, o post hoje ser vai um tanto incomum pra quem costuma entrar aqui. O motivo é simples: Quero saber se vou ter algum comentário a respeito dos estudos que fiz, a partir de um desenho analisado pelo John Kricfalusi (animador) em seu blog. Heckling Hare and Falling Hare (Studies) :

Hey guys! This is the selected picture from the Bugs Bunny´s cartoon Heckling Hare animated by Rod Snibder (40`s age) :














Well, let´s work...
















I confess I spent almost 4 hours sketching a lot of sheets, searching the forms the best way I can do. For a first try in this kind of stuff, I focused at the oval shape of the head to avoid distorting more than necessary. I remembered John speaking about the atention when builds mid lines of head and the muzzle (cuz they have subtle differences). It was really awesome to do man ! I felt that I wanna more!

Well, ceasing the moment, I reached for other examples of Mr. Snibder`s cartoons. Then I found this beauty called Falling Hare (you must remember... is that episode where wacky gremlin annoys Bugs Bunny). Well This is my picture:














I really loved this Bugs 'knocked out' face! It´s very expressive and strong in my opinion... So I decided draw it following the construction as you´ll see in the next pictures:














Like John`s lesson, I tried first pay atention to the general forms and then elaborate my construction. I found the proportion of 1 head and half (head + neck). The next pic is my final result:
